Currently working on a small project to list all my DVD’s in one place!

The application itself has the following functionality.

Full intergration with Amazon ECS.
Ajax :flash notifications (sexy_flash), scriptaculous library (Custom effects)
Amazon integrated search, customized plug-in, the plug-in currently works for books only.. adjusted for certain fields needed to be returned by the Amazon.com API.
Pagination
Local Search of DB, from movie title.
Random (Returns two random DVD titles from the DB) – I have added this feature for the reason of…. “What dvd to watch?”

Amazon will return the DVD Title, actors, description, running time, DVD cover image.

The best part of the application is when adding a new DVD to the database, it searches the amazon database from the search input (DVD Title) it will pull all required information from Amazon.com and allow you to add the DVD to the local DB from the search results.

It’s currently a work in progress, however I have provided screenshots below. I will release this application to the public once I deem it ready *smiles*
